This workshop is for students applying to college in 2023 or 2024.

Join our workshop to gain valuable insights into optimising your UC college application, with a specific focus on exploring the eight essay options from UC. Our college admissions expert, Tyler, will guide participants through the process, sharing tips that have proven successful for our students. From which stories to include to which prompts to select, we will strive to help you tell your stories in interesting ways while covering all aspects of crafting outstanding UC essays.

During the workshop, participants will engage in interactive activities where we will review and critique previous examples that have worked. We will also break down the process of sharing different aspects of your profile to ensure you come off as well-rounded and your best experiences shine through.

Students will then be able to plan and present their ideas for how they plan to share their experiences and stories and the main themes or ideas for the four essays they have selected where they will be asked to share their concepts for starting the essay and the main points and reflections for the 4 essays.

Lastly, participants will be asked to share any drafts they have started and can submit these to be workshopped by the group to gain feedback. If students have not started any drafts, at this stage, they will be asked to begin writing parts of one of the essays they ideated in the previous section.

Through reviewing several examples that worked to get students into top programs and going through the example exercise, we hope that all participants will be ready to complete their essays.

Enhance your college application writing skills and increase your chances of admission by joining our workshop! Secure your spot today – this workshop is complimentary for current students, while new registrants will be charged a fee.
